Arbetarrörelsens Tankesmedja (The Swedish Labour Movement Think Tank) is an association that was founded in 2006 and is jointly run by the Swedish Trade Union Confederation, the Social Democratic Party and the Workers" Educational Association.
The Swedish Labour Movement Think Tank aims to inspire and contribute to a debate about the challenges that face the labour movement in a modern society. Our arguments must be independent where values such as liberty and equality are the foundation upon which we conduct objective studies about developments important for the labour movement. The association must also spread its ideas to different aras of society.
The Swedish Labour Movement Think Tank"s regular activities consisit of:
- conducting analyses on changes in society
- developing ideas and inspiring discussions about those issues concerning the future which are essential to our members
- building a network in order to support this development of ideas
We issue debate journals, publish reports and arrange seminars. Our website provies a possibility to monitor our work and for our readers to insert comments.
We also cooperate with the social democratic journal Tiden. There is a small icon on our website where you may find the contents of the latest publication.
